National Sunday School Convention

Wonderful things happen in Sunday School.  Sunday School will show its promise with just a little more attention. Sunday School can touch the lives of everyone in the congregation - from the very young to the very old.

Sunday School - it's for life!

Sunday School is a place where people and churches can be transformed:

  • growing leaders for the church's mission
  • increasing people's sense of belonging and commitment to stewardship
  • providing a place for new people to make friends and learn to grow as disciples
  • deepening people's understanding of God's activity in all of life

National Mission Society

In an increasingly diverse culture and complex world, Jesus' strategy outlined in Acts 1:8 is all the more relevant: the Church must make disciples locally (Jerusalem), nationally (Judea and Samaria), and internationally (the ends of the earth).

The Mission Society takes seriously both Jesus' command to go into all the world and the centrality of the local church as God's primary agent of mission in the world. Through seminars, workshops, mentoring services, and ongoing involvement with congregations, The Mission Society helps equip the local church to be effective and strategic in reaching the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ.

National Youth Work

With all of the unfulfilling opportunities in the world it is more important than ever that we provide positive, God-focused choices for our youth that are fun and appeal to their specific individual and collective sense of taste. Young believers face scorn, degradation, and humiliation every day from the secular world within which they live.  These young people need opportunities to live their faith without fear and trepidation.  They need to know that following Jesus Christ is good, and fun, and certainly nothing to be ashamed of, despite what they hear in the secular media and the hallways of their schools.
