The Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America is called by God to missions and a people united in one faith. We believe that in order for the denomination to fulfill her missions, there must be some different directions for the Church. In today's society, there are many challenges within the denomination and they SEEM to take priority over our missions as called by God. These challenges are real but must not consume all of our energy and time.

We believe that the 2012 proposed structure change is imperative. One of the changes that need to take place pertains to the responsibilities of the Stated Clerk as outlined in the Rules of Order. We also need a Ministry/Missions/Christian Education Director. Therefore, we need one person to take care of the day-to-day routine of the Church, legal concerns, etc. and another person to provide leadership in missions throughout the denomination.
